Gaviscon Double Action Liquid Suspension is designed to provide fast, soothing, and long-lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and acid indigestion. The liquid works in two ways: it neutralizes excess stomach acid to relieve pain and discomfort, and it forms a protective barrier over stomach contents to soothe burning pain in the chest.

Volume: 300ml
Active Ingredients (per 10ml): 500mg sodium alginate, 213mg sodium bicarbonate, and 325mg calcium carbonate.
Other Ingredients: Carbomer, methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, sodium saccharin, peppermint flavour, sodium hydroxide, and water.
Dietary Information: This product is sugar-free and gluten-free.
Dosage (Adults and children over 12 years): Take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
Important Usage Notes:
Shake well before use.
Children under 12 years should not take this product unless recommended by a doctor.
This product can be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Each 20ml dose contains 11.06 mmol sodium and 6.5 mmol calcium; consult your doctor before use if you have been advised to follow a restricted diet for these.
